As a matter of principle and Planning policy, it is always the case that rental units be given privacy, and the autonomy on their entry and outdoor space. This is especially true when the landlord occupies the adjoining unit on the property. The complexity of meeting the needs of a multiple person family, along with the provision for a rental unit can be an onerous task. This site was such that the programming requirements seemed to outweigh the capacity of the lot to provide them. With careful consideration and collaboration with the owner, we were able to create what was a perfect solution to their housing needs.
